Volunteering & Academy
To help others, it is essential first and foremost to cultivate oneself. Our association exists thanks to a network of Human People, volunteers, who every year dedicate themselves voluntarily to cultivating our values and our mission. We have thus created the Academy project, to grow, together, as people and as volunteers!

Dear supporter, let me tell you a story...
We are a network of volunteers located throughout Italy who every day lend part of their time to the realization of projects that allow the digital world and technology to become a useful tool accessible to everyone regardless of age and social class.
We grew up on the web
Seven boys and girls around the age of 20 decide to make their skills and passions available to the community: "We grew up on the web. We are a group of IT professionals and content creators, operating in an environment where tools are accessible to everyone, but only a few really know how to use them. We want to help you walk with us!"
2019
A challenging start
Ready to inform about the dangers of the internet in schools, we immediately had to reassess our activities due to the lockdown for the pandemic, while we reorganize ourselves we are not stopped, although we cannot do immediately what we had in mind, we still gave a hand helping families in economic difficulty with a food collection!
2020
StudioConnesso and the Digital Divide
After overcoming the initial obstacles, the founders roll up their sleeves to involve more and more new members and volunteers. The association begins to take shape. We start developing StudioConneso and present the first streaming event to students in Rome and Milan. We understand that our mission is not simply to educate about digital issues, but rather to counter the silent digital divide!
2021
UNIDEA APS at TEDxVarese
UNIDEA obtains the title of APS, presents the first in-person event: kNOwPrivacy, participates in the realization of the manifesto "Citizens of the digital world" in the re-constituting program and brings StudioConnesso to become a PCTO activity. The NetCamps are also born to cultivate our community and we present ourselves at TEDxVarese to tell how important it is to understand what we do.
2022
Positive UNIDEA
UNIDEA initiates a broad cultural transformation process to maximize the value of the people involved. Through the values of empathy, inclusion, and respect, the new leadership redefines the organization. We participate in various events, involving new partners throughout the country. Now, with a renewed digital culture, UNIDEA implements a three-year project to create an educational ecosystem with programs for everyone, consolidating a stronger volunteer community.
